1999 Ford Taurus regarding belts on engine

Hi guys,
I own a 1999 for taurus 6 cylinder 24 valve dohc. It has 108k miles on it. It is driving good.I am planning to go for long drive. Before that I want to service the vehicle.I want to know whether my car has belts or chains on the engine and as it is on 108k. So do you guys suggest me to replace any belts on it. Because I dont want to get stranded on a freeway

8th digit of VIN is an "s"?

If so, it has a timing chain. Do not worry about it.
