1998 Ford Taurus Air Conditioning Fuse

I was driving my car the other day and and running the a/c. I got to my destination and turned the car off. When I got back in to start it the a/c or heater would notturn on. I was wondering if you thought it was fuse? If so where is the fuse located at? I dont have the door on the fuse box to tell which one it was.

I would check the fuses for sure as a 1st step

use a test light and check fuses

I found a 40 amp fuse that is no good. Is that the right fuse for the A/C or blower motor? Thanks

You'll only find out by replacing it. Is this one under the hood in the power distribution center?
