Hello, I have a 97 taurus. Yesterday while out driving I put in reverse and the rear left tire would not rotate. Runs fine in drive this only happened in reverse. Recently had brakes done and snow tires put on. It started without any other warnings. Any help would be appreciated.

Get the left rear brake checked out its locking up-could be a piston caliper not retracting/collasped hose or brake shoe out of adjustment if its drum type

If its a drum type at reverse this is the time the rear brakes self adjust-its probably not -open it up and investigate
