I have a 1997 1998 ford taurus and the seat bellt lights light will come on and blinks on and off at least three times and then it will stay on, I have checked all the fuse'es and I cannot get the light to stay off?

I have a Haynes repair manual and it tells me no more than you just did that is why I ask the you.

Light blinking as you dont have you belt in !
What I would suspect is an open in the wiring or a bad buckle
a scanner I think should help in detecting the problem for you
