I have a 1996 Ford Taurus and I have noticed the windshield wiper and washers were acting up. The other day they just quit working, I have checked every fuse and relay and all are working. Also I have changed the wiper motor and the multi -purpose switch on the colum and nothing! Please help!

Hi I understand you are frustrateing but since we are here and you are there and with a very limited amount of info. This is the way we have to help. So we can try again. Do you have 12 volts at the wiper motor switch on key on?
Did you put new multi function switch or used?

Yes I have 12 volts to the wire, I did find one fuse now that has no power to it at all its a 5 amp fuse but there is like 6 to 8 different places it has a fuse for the wipers. This is really getting wierd because I could have sworn it had power last night when I was working on it. Im stumped again. Thanks! Also the switch I put it was a new one, and I ran a hot wire to the motor and checked it. The high and low speeds work.
