My car is staring to overheat. And was told the head gasket is blow. Or leaking. Is it possible to fix by just adding some Bars type products?

This is just my opinion based on my own current issue with a 93 Taurus and it's head gasket problems, but I would not attempt the quick fix Bars solution.
If I were you, I would drive the car as little as humanly possible until you can get it properly diagnosed at a shop. My faliure to do this in time resulted in the gasket blowing at the #4 cylinder and 2 cracks in the front head. I have been replacing parts from the heads upward for the last week+ and now have backpressure issues. I was fortunate enough to have a whole top-end assembly from a 94 Taurus already at my disposal but most folks don't have that money saving advantage. Error on the side of the most caution and don't trust such a crucial component to a quick-fix without a qualified diagnosis. That's just my opinion but what I thought could be fixed by replacing my thermostat or fan relay nearly cost me my whole engine.
Best of luck in tracking down the problem and I'm hoping that it is only something minor that you have to deal with.
