I'm looking for information on a part that is on the exhaust system of the 94 taurus this part has a mesh outter covering and is located in the middle of the exhust line betweeen the tail pipe/muffler and the engine exshults line out of the motor what part is this and where can i find it for a low cost

Exhaust flex pipe
two choices
remove and replace the pipe as one unit flex and all
or cut the old flex out and fit it with a new one (some may require welding )

need manual CHECK IT @
