I ran a key on ignition test and got numerous codes. I know the meaning of many of them but can someone tell me what is a "goose" test? Thanks

I don't know what a goose test is, but I have learned that, when you have many codes in the computer, it's more likely a low-tech problem.

Computers are notoriously bad at giving false readings, especially when you have a simple vacuum leak. A vacuum leak will cause the idle air control valve, the EGR valve, throttle position sensor, and oxygen sensors to set a code.

I generally don't even try to read the code until I rule out vacuum leaks, spark plugs, etc.
