1994 Ford Taurus Interchangeability

Bought a 94 Taurus without engine and trans. Took engine and trans out of my 92 and put in 94. Electrical connections to it are different. What do I need to do now?
Both transmissions are 17 bolt pans. I believe the 92 is an AXOD-E and 94 is an AX4S?

We only recommend direct replacement parts for this exact reason. Things change so much from year to year that things never work out as easily as they did years ago.

For two cars that look identical on the interior and body, there are many differences that didn't become apparent until now. Thank you for confirming that I just learned a lesson the hardway!
