1994 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a problem with my Ford Taurus station wagon
rear hatch and dome light blinking. These lights will start blinking when the ignition is completely off. It sounds as though a relay is working by the drivers side rear hatch light. This is a intermittent problem. Can you help me?

Hi
There is an Illumination Control Module behind left rear quater panel maybe malfunctioning at times. Check all door switches and check thta doors close tightly. Are there two cargo lights? Both come on?

Yes both cargo lights blink, but noise comes only from left rear panel area. Is the only way to test illumination control module to replace it?

Left rear mean drivers side as you sit in car? No way to test
