What would be a fair price to repair a leaky timing chain gasket? My local shop said it's a big repair and to just keep adding antifreeze while another shop said it was no big deal and was only about $150. Who is right? The car has no other problems and runs well.

Hi there,

There is about 3-4 hrs in this job looking at the Mitchell 1 work data site, so the second price is some what low, as for the first work shop i would be only looking at them through the rear vision mirror as you drive away, that sort of advice is pathetic, go get a few quotes and see what you come up with,
