I just recently perchased my car a couple of days ago and when I baught it both the air conditioning and the heat worked and as of yesterday they both stopped working all together. The fan is working just fine and all the controls but its just blowing air. Could somebody please help me on what this might be?

Suspect the blend door actuator, located on top of evaporator assembly, controls blend door movement according to command from control panel. An electric motor moves blend door. A separate potentiometer feeds blend door position information to control panel.

Entering Self-Diagnostics
Simultaneously depress OFF and FLOOR buttons, and press AUTO button within 2 seconds.

Display will be blank for up to 20 seconds while test is running.
If codes are displayed, repair all error codes in order, from lowest number to highest number.

Self-diagnostics can be initiated at any time with the resulting error codes being displayed.

Normal system operation is stopped when system is in self-diagnostic mode.
Exiting Self-Diagnostics
To exit self-diagnostics, depress BLUE button. Deactivate self-diagnostics before turning system off.
