Loss of power

I have a 1990 ford ranger that experienced a loss of power. I have to have it right to the floor to go highway speeds. It's a 2.9L standard. The converter is not plugged. Fuel filter is good. What is my next step.

1. Fault in the fuel or electrical system.
2. Faulty or incorrect gapped spark plugs.
3. Fault coil.
4. Brakes binding.
5. Automatic transmission fluid level incorrect.
6. Fuel filter clogged and/or impurities in the fuel system.
7. Emission control system not funtioning properly.
8. Low or uneven cylinder compression pressure.
9. Faulty spark plug wires.
