Door Panel Removal

How can I remove the passenger side door panel to repair the actuator for my remote door lock

This is how it's done, at least on my '97 ranger.

Remove the manual window crank. There's a plastic "cover" on the top half of it that just pops up, which will then give you access to the screw that holds the crank in place.

Then remove the 2 screws from the indoor plastic handle panel. The handle panel should then be able to be pulled off. There's some screws underneath for the main door panel that need to be removed. The main door panel also has a screw in the lower corner opposite of the hinge side.

Once all the screws are removed, the panel lifts straight up.
