Changing speedometer senser

1999 ford ranger. Rear wheel dr.120,000 miles.I have no speedometer and a lit abs light. Where is the senser?

According to my repair manual it says the vehicle speed sensor is on the right side of the transmission about half way down. It has a 2 wire connector going to it. The ABS light would be a different problem.

Sorry for the wrong info. The book I have is for '91-'99 rangers and mountainers and thats where it showed it.
