2004 Ford Ranger Why are my brakes doing this?

2004 Ford Ranger 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

i just installed the rotors and brake pads on my truck. Now sometimes when I hit the brakes, it feels like they are pinching and it makes a noise and the pedal kicks back.

Sounds like rotor is warped get it miked out

You said you installed new rotors I would think the calipers are locked up unless the ball joints are bad and they warped the rotors
