Electrical problem
2003 Ford Ranger Engine Size unknown Four Wheel Drive Automatic 60,000 miles

Slowly the driver's side door stopped working. It occasionally would not work when I would use my automatic key chain locker, and also when I would try to lock or unlock it from the inside. Now it won't work at all. I can only use the key. It is not the key chain locker, and I do not think it is the fuse, because the other door works fine.

Does it make any noise? Might be the lock actuator, need to remove door panel to be sure that the actuator is getting power and ground when you try to unlock. That is most likely the problem
