MY RANGER IDLES ROUGH AND STALLS OUT AT TIMES I FIRST WAS TOLD A FUEL PUMP. CARBON ON VALVES AND OTHER I HAVE REPLACE PUMP PLUGS WIRES FILTER AND STILL IDLES ROUGH NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WILL COME ON AND HAS PASSED EMISSION. I BEEN TOLD ITS LOADING UP ON FUEL AND COIL MAY BE BAD BUT KNOW LIGHT WILL COME ON LOST HERE. Hope someone has a cure for this spending money thats not needed. Like I said still idles rough, using gas, and cuts out when I get on it hard. Could a weak valve spring cause this

The feul pressure regulator on youf fuel sounds bad. Pull vacum line off and see if there is gas in the line. There shouldn't be, but if there is its bad.
