My daughters Ford Ranger has been having an unusual problem. Wether you are using the Air Conditioning or the Heater the blowing air, no matter at what speed, only comes out through the windshield defroster vents. I have changed the ac/heater switch module on the dash and it still only blows through the defrosters. Any Idea what I should look for next. We live in AZ and it's way to hot to drive withou the ac blowing through the dash vents.

Sounds like you have a problem with your vent control levers. Your truck likely has an electic controled actuator at the dash that signals the switch. Look into the path the vents take. Where is the junction from dash vents to defrost vents. The all come from the same place, the cooling fins behind the dash. You may need to repace the electric switch in the dash. It could be clogged, of a manaul lever broken. Taking off the dash should narrow it down.
