2000 Ford Ranger Oil

I recently had my oil changed and there was very little oil in the pan. There is no oil in the driveway and no smoke from the tail pipe. I do here a little engine rattle if I try to speed up in a higer gear. Am I burnjng oil some where?

Hi there,

you will be burning small amounts of oil over a long time, often when the oil starts to break down this will happen quicker, don't use a synth oil and do regular changes with a filter, this should help.
