2000 Ford Ranger 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I come from a family of mechanics. I can not figure out the solutions to the problems that I am encountering. My odometer/speedometer are intermittently working. Also the ABS light comes on. Until the light came on I did not know that this year of Ranger had ABS brakes. I have looked under the hood and up from the bottom, but have not found anything that is loose. Suggestions please!

This is real common on these vehicles there is a sensor on the rear differential of the truck on the top of it. It is a round looking sensor held down with one bolt and a plug replace that its any where from 10-20 dollars.
