I drove my truck around Saturday, and it worked perfectly, I didn't drive it Sunday, and I get up Monday morning for work, and while driving my Ranger stutters/putters, and kinda shakes, when I'm on the gas, it doesn't matter if I'm pressing hard, or soft, just whenever there is pressure applied to the gas. I get off work, I call my dad and ask him to follow me to a Midas or wherever, he said no, it's probably just a clog somewhere in the fuel line, or just unclean gas and to get some fuel/carberature (sp?) Cleaner and put that stuff in. I bought some Sea Foam, and that helped a little bit. But it's still doing it. Should I just go ahead and take the truck into Midas? What could this problem be? And is it easily fixable (and semi-cheap), I know it could be a myriad of things. But I think it does have something to do with the gas line or the carberature.
I had a tune-up done last November, and just put on new rotars and brakes. And everything was fine at the time. It just randomly started doing this.
Thanks
