Have A 2000 Ranger with 3.0 l engine.
I have water getting into the oil. I have
replaced the head gasketand had the heads
pressure checked and shaved. All related gasket were replaced. I put about 300 kms on the engine after this. It still mixed antifreeze with yhe oil.
the coolant system losted about 5 l of anti freeze
but did not increase the level of oil about 1/8 of a l.
there is no smoke or water coming from the exaust
pipe. Do you know of any problems or possible
service bullents for this engine?

Didnt find any service tsbs for your engine concerning your issue.

Have the cooling system pressure checked, if im right you have a oil cooler? Is this correct? It could be leaking in the radiator cuasing it to mix dependent on the size of the hole. That would be your best bet since the vehicle isnt burning antifreeze.

Have you checked the compression on the cylinders?

Alright, could have sworn it had an internal oil cooler on the transmission. Sorry.

A intake manifold gasket leak can get coolant in the oil, but not really oil in the coolant so we can rule that out.

Next you would have to be checking the compression and cylinder leak down and see if its a issue with the heads or headgasket. If thats all good then perform a pressure test on the coolant system if thers a leak in that you may have a crack in the block.
