I have a 99 ford ranger. When I go from a dead stop the rear end will lift up about an inch or so and it causes my truck to jerk. It drops down when I come to a stop as well. No one can tell me what the problem is. Any help would be awesome!

Is this four wheel drive? It may be that your shoes need to be adjusted in the rear, they probably arent catching when you apply the brakes, therefore your front brakes are causing you to do an "endo" of sorts. Kind of like when you had that dirt bike as a kid and put your foot behind the forks to make your bike go up in the air on the front tire, its the same concept.

Check the brakes in the rear and we'll take it from there
