1999 Ford Ranger Changing spark plugs

Do I have to remove the upper intake manifold to replace plugs 3 and 4 on the right side?

Oh yea, it's got to come off. Watch your hoses and vacuum lines during the removal process. Replace your intake gasket, and torque to 23 foot Lbs. Also conceder removing some coolant first... Makes for a smaller mess later. It's a relatively easy procedure to do.
