Hi my 99 ranger has a slight grab/pause feel when you take off and stop. Lately after drivin about 30 mi. When your on the gas hard it stutters or pops. Any ideas. Thanks.

Since you said there is a popping sound, it sounds engine related and not transmission. Has the check engine light come on? Have you checked for vacuum leaks or fuel pressure? When was the last tune up with a fuel filter?
