I have a 98 Ranger with a 3.0L engine. I have not been able to determine whether or not it has a block heater. Can you tell me where to look on the block. Also, depending on the weather the cab heater only adjusts to full-hot (winter) or full-cold (summer) there are no median tempuratures.

would be in a engine block freeze plug hole, passanger side of engine, or on the lower radiator hose dependent on the kind you have.

look for a 110v standard electrical cord hanging under the vehicle to see if you have one or not.
