my interior dome light will not turn off when door is shut, have checked dimmer switch it is not on, have disconected batterry to reset any thing then reconected cable still stays on.

HEY NOW!! WHAT YOU HAVE IS A STICKING DOOR AJAR SWITCH ON THE LATCH MECHANISM IN THE DOOR. BEFORE REPLACING THE SWITCH YOU CAN TRY SPRAYING WD40 INTO LATCH AND OPEN AND SHUT THE DOOR A BUNCH OF TIMES, THIS USUALLY FREES IT UP. **THE DOOR PIN SWITCH THAT STICKS IS USUALLY ON THE DOOR YOU USE THE LEAST SO MAKE SURE YOU DO IT TO BOTH DOORS. LET US KNOW HOW YOU MAKE OUT.
