I have the code p0443 on my truck. I have had this for a while now. I replaced the purge valve, reset the PCM (thanks to AutoZone), let it sit and idle for a a couple hours, shut it off, started it again and the light came right back on. I also had EGR valve insufficient flow code and I replaced the EGR pressure sensor and that code went away no problem. I am wondering what else I should do to get this code (P0443) to go away. I am very clueless. Thanks.

This is a common problem the EGR passages get clogged and need to be cleaned out. Remove the EGR and use carburetor cleaner and a coat hanger to remove the build up.

Please report back.

Cheers
