1996 Ford Ranger heater/defrost no working properly

1996 Ford Ranger Manual 210000 miles

Dear carpro's,

Fired up the heater this afternoon, windows fogged up with moisture. Could smell anitifreeze, and could moisture blowing out of heat vents. Not sure where to begin. Thank you for any assistance.

Give me some more info on the engine if it has ac or not 4 cly or v6
