I have read that the connection for the code scanner is under the dash for my 1995 ford ranger. I cannot find it. The repair manuals are vague. Can you help.

I did find the plug for the scanner. The thing that is driving me nuts is that the 1995 ford ranger with the 2.3 L engine is not what the manuals talk about. I do not have an external ignition control module, mine is intergrated with the pcm. The 1995s came OBDII ready. The 93-94 model rangers have the test connection under the hood. I am learning more and more about this truck as the days go by. Thanks for your help.

if you can not locate the DDL
check under the hood
also check in the passenger side area
