Hi, my girlfriend's truck is driving me insane. I have replaced the blower motor and checked every inch of the duct work for debris to see if it somehow plugged up, but found nothing. The blower fan is working correctly and the linkage to the mixer is working as well, no vacuum leaks either inside the cab or outside under the hood. The blender is working because I have hot and cold air blowing out the vents and all of the doors that control the direction of the air flow are working, but yet I get very little air flow through the vents? I am at total loss as to what this could be.
I am desperate for an idea, she is driving me nuts with this thing, please help!

Thanks so much

One of the vend doors can't be opening or closing fully. Are you absolutely certain there are no vacuum leaks>

I removed the cover for the heater core to check to see if the doors that I can access were opening and closing properly. I do believe these are the doors that direct the air flow to the vents, they seemed to be operating correctly, but I do not have a schematic to show me where the other doors are located. As far as the vacuum leaks, there are none that I can find. There are two black vacuum lines farther up under the dashboard, but I can't access them short of removing the entire dash. I listened for any hissing sounds, but none were detected. I do believe there must be another door that I can't see or feel from the bottom of the ductwork that is not opening, but as I said before I do not have any schematics to find it. If you have any idea where it is located I would sure like to have that information or the schematics.
I don't think Chiltons or Hanes manuals have that information.
Thanks so much!

Here are the only pictures I could find. Let me know if they help. My biggest concern is that you won't be able to read them. If that is the case, try to copy them and save them to a paint program and enlarge them. That is what I was told would work but have no idea how to do it.

Thanks so much for the diagrams, I know these are hard to find. Now are these for the 94 model? I will go out this weekend and check the vacuum lines leading into the cabin from the engine compartment to see if there are any leaks. I will post my findings as soon as I can. Thanks again for all of your help.

I'm glad to help. I just hope they are large enough for you to read. Yes, they are for your model year. Also, if you have any specific questions regarding the schematics (something you can't read) let me know and I'll read it for you and get back to you.

Take care, and again, I hope I've helped you.
