My wife was driving my truck when it bounced like it would if it wasnt getting enough gas. My wife gave it more gas but it died she started it again and it jumped and died again. When I got to it I tried to start it but it wouldnt actualy start but it would try. Now it wont even try I only hear a click. But the fuel pump does engage. As I was pushing it home the power steering resevoir blew off and spewed the cherry juice over the engine.

Battery went low and need to be charged
power steering all over the engine that because of when turning the steering with engine of tank get over filed and no where for the fluid to go put up and every where
check and add fluid as needed after engine start

for the no start
check timing belt and make sure it didn't brake or skipped few teeth
check for fuel pressure
check for spark
let me know

The battery is new lights all come on along with the anoing beeping when door is open and key in ignition.
Belt is in need of replaceing but it has good tension and not broke.
I hear the fuel pump engage when I have my wife turn the key. I hear it before the ckick when she turns the ignition.
How do I check for a spark?

I was told from 3 different people that it could be the battery but its not I bought a new one yesterday and I instaled it last night and it still wont try to turn over. When I turn the key the fuel pump does its thing then when I turn it to start it all it does is there is a click only one and it sounds like its coming from the sylinoyd thats attatched to the right body work of the wheel well.

Move on to checking the starter now you know the battery is good and fully charged
and check if the engine locked up due to internal failure
try to rotate the engine by placing a socket and wrench on the crank pulley center bolt
