I was having problems with my transmission jumping out of 5th Gear, I pulled the transmission and had it rebuilt, while it was out I replaced the Pilot Bearing, Clutch, U-Joints, & Carrier Bearing.
I installed the rebuilt transmission, Initial test drive around the block was perfect. First trip on the High way, it done it again. The Gears all seem tight. What would cause it to jump out of gear only in 5th Gear.
I know the Input Shaft, Gears, Syncros, Slide Rail & Top Plate was all replaced, as I was given the old parts. Could worn Motor mounts be causing this?
