Hi there,

Recently I began to have an interesting problem. My '91 Ford Ranger seems to start and run fine at all times unless I stall the engine a few minutes after starting.

The engine starts up fine cold in the morning (temp = 40F - 50F), and also starts fine after I've driven long enough to be completely warm. The problem seems to be when the engine is in between these two states.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Doc, you need to have the fuel pressure check and comeback with the readings so that we can continue the diagnosis.

The check engine light is it On-if so get it read and comeback with the code/s. Also when was the last major tune-up?
