1990 Ford Ranger power booster filling with gas

can anyone tell me why my power brake booster is filling with gas?i've changed it twice and both times it had gas in it which i believe is degrading the membrane and ruining it. the truck has a strong oder of gas when i start it and acts flooded once started it runs o.k.it is fuel injected any help would be appreciated.

Hi there,

The booster works on engine manifold vacuum, if you have a leaky fuel injector, this is how fuel will be getting into the booster, have the injectors checked.

Pull the vacuum hose off the fuel pressure regulator you see gas in it the FPR is gone-replace it
