1984 Ford Ranger OIL AND GAS

When I take my dipstick out the oil is really running and smells like gas. Also, gas shoots out of my "bpt" whatever that is. Please help. Thank you

Check the fuel pressure and could be your float sinking allowing to much fuel to enter the engine.

Thanks. Also what does "BPT" stand for? I have a diagram of the engine and it seems I have fuel shooting out from there could tha tbe the problem too?

The BPT sounds like you're taling about the Backpressure Transducer Valve-thaqt has to with the EGR valve.
