I have a 1984 ford ranger and I need to replace the starter. I need to purchase one and replace it myself. I would appreciate any pictures, instructions, and advice anyone can give me. Thankyou! Karen

Which engine size is this for? 2.3L, 2.8L etc?

Try cleaning out the idle air control valve and test the throttle position sensor and manifold absolute pressure sensor-

Ok how would I clean the idle air control valve? And how would I test the sensors. I know where the idle air control valve and throttle position sencor is. But could you tell me where the manifold absolute pressure sensor is?
