My car tends to die if the RPM drops below about 1500 and I have no idea why. When I am stopped I have to keep the gas pedal steady at at least 1500 RPM or the engine will die. I have even had it die on me when I was driving at low speeds. Any ideas on why it would do this?

Check the idle air control valve/motor, throttle position sensor and volume airflow sensor-
