1993 Ford Probe

I have a 93 ford probe with approximately 186000 miles on it and I was cruising down the road the other day and it just died on me and will not start back up. I have put a new coil in it but still have no spark. I have had this car for less than a month and its really irritating because I cant figure it out. I also had the oil changed a few days before it happened and the day after that it started smoking when I started it up.

Hi there,

to fully test this ignition system you will need these special tools, do you have them, if not this will be a job for a qualified repair shop, as for the smoking make sure that they did not use a synth oil if it was running mineral based oil, this will make it smoke.
