hi, I recently accidentally bumped into a car in my village and cant let it go through the insurance as I will then lose my car.

i am wondering how much cash to offer the guy. His rear drivers side door is dented a little, but the damage is solely on the door, no other panel. My boyfriend has the exact same model and colour of car redundant on his driveway and has offered me that door as a replacement?

I think you are talking to the wrong folks! The guy you hit is the guy to make happy? Doesn't matter what we think. Have him go to a body shop and get an estimate to do both, repair or replace, and do the cheapest, if the guy agrees!
