Hey ive got a 1988 ford laser and it keeps stalling when I brake. Also when I start it I have to rev it alot too keep it idling, but it wont idle unless I have some presure on excellerator. When driving it running very rough and is making weird noises.

Dad suggested it could be the carberator?

Hi there,

One common problem with these cars are cracked & broken vacuum lines have these check and if there is a sucking noise when you hit the brakes have the booster checked foe vacuum leaks.
