Surging/hesitation in engine

I have a 1974 351w that is in a 1968 mustang

Carb is a 1406 edlebrock- 600cfm electric choke - new

Dist. - HEI - new

Plugs - new

Manifold - edlebrock - performer

my problem is that when the car accelerates is suges/hesitates.

Have you checked out the gas flow yet. Check the fuel filter, the fuel pump and check the timing.

Could also be a dirty air filter.
