When you push the power door lock button, the panic alarm goes off. It does this whether you lock or unlock the doors from the driver's door button or even if you use the remote. And the panic alarm will not shut off as it should when you push the panic button on the remote to stop it. It just times out. It's a little embarrassing!

This happened in my old car, what it was for me was the wires for the keyless entry and alarm were touching so when you pressed the locks (either the switch or by remote) the alarm would get triggered too. Take off the panel underneath the dash, towards where your feet go, and make sure that all the wires have the insulations intact and that they arent crossed anywhere.
