Oil pressure

I have a 1987 mustang gt with a 5.0, and my pil pressure keeps dropping when I push the gas but when I let off it comes back up to normal, but while I'm cruising if I push on the clutch and push the gas it does not drop at all, I don't know what it could be can you help me out?

I would start with the sending unit. Your GT has the built in gauge? It could have some dirt in the sender! To be sure hook up a test gauge first. Oil is clean? Filter?

, I changed the oil and oil filter about a month ago and I put castrol 10 w 30, 4 quarts and then 1 quart of lucas oil stabilizer, and a k&N oil filter, it does'nt affect the cars performance at all so what do you think? And thank you so much for the reply.
