I have a Ford Mustang GT 1995 it has a 5.0 engine it has around 45,000 miles. My car won't turn on, I check the battery and they told me it might be the gas filter I changed the gas filter. When I tried to turn it on I didn't turn on but then I spayed some of the gas and it turn on for a few seconds. They told me my gas pump is probably clogged. How do I fix it and where is the gas pump located?

First check for voltage at the fuel pump when the key is on the pump is in the gas tank you must drop the tank which is easy to do with a jack a flat board and a little patience it only has two bolts and two straps holding it up now also b4 you do any of this check the inertia switch which should be located in the trunk somewhere behind the carpet possibly on your model on the driver side rear qauter panel it has a reset button so try that first then drop the tank if that doesnt fix it. When you drop the tank take off the wiring harness to the fuel pump it should have 12 volts well 12 to 13 anyway when the key is on if not there is a break in the circuit and you need to trace the wire and find the prob it could be a relay or a fuse or any number of things you just have to look if you dont have one alreay go get a manual with the schematics in it it helps alot :D
