Dash Light Problems

I have a 2000 Ford Mustang Convertable with approx. 86000 miles.

The fuse for the dash lights has blown. When I install a new fuse, it blows as soon as I turn the lights on.

I think it is a short somwhere but I would like some help or tips on how to try to find it.

Of course its a short. It is either in the light switch or on the printed circuit board on the back of the instrument cluster. That is unless there has been some extra wiring like a radio or alarm system.
