Auto meter tach

I have a 1988 mustang gt. I just bought a autometer tach for it. I need to know the right way to wire it. The directions that came with it dont help to much. Thanks to anyone for help. :

Not familiar with wiring for that tach, but I would assume you have a red power wire, black ground, maybe a white illumination wire, and a green or blue signal wire? The signal wire needs to go into the tach side of the ignition coil, was I close on the coloring?
