Brakes problem
2004 Ford Mustang V8 Manual 54,000 miles

Hello! I have a 2004 Mustang GT with about 54,000 miles. Upon inspection of my brake pads, my last oil change and tire rotation, I will need to have them replaced shortly. I was wondering if I replace my original pads with ceramic pads if this is the best way to go and if I do, will I need to replace my rotors as well? I have heard that sometimes ceramic pads squeak a bit more.

It always prefered to at least machine the rotors with new pads, it gives a smooth surface for the pads to break in propperly. My experience with ceramics, they run quiet! I use them on my car with NO squealing at all.
