2003 Mustang intermittant no start

Any help appreciated.I have a 2003 Ford Mustang convertible, 3.8 liter V6, 42,000 miles was running well. Now, maybe every 3 or 4 days, it will not start. It cranks but does not try to start. I have noticed when it does not start the "theft" light is flashing on the dash. When it does start, the light is not flashing. I hope it is something simple. Thanks in advance.

If you have remote keyless entry try removing the key and tapping the door open button then see if it starts!
